JUNIORS

Our Juniors Program is designed to help children build confidence, discipline, and resilience through structured martial arts training.

Classes combine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals with age-appropriate skill development, giving children the tools to improve focus, manage challenges, and grow in a positive, supportive environment. Children in this age group may train in both Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, each offering unique benefits.

Gi Jiu-Jitsu
Training in the Gi uses the uniform for grips and control. It encourages patience, technique, and problem-solving, and strongly reinforces discipline and structure.

No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu
No-Gi is faster paced and focuses on body movement, balance, and control without relying on clothing grips. It helps develop agility, adaptability, and reaction speed.

Alongside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, children in our Juniors Program have the opportunity to train in Judo and Muay Thai, providing a well-rounded martial arts foundation.

For children who are ready and interested, our Juniors Program offers a safe, optional introduction to competition. Competing at this age is not about winning - it’s about learning, confidence, and personal growth.

  • Yes. Structured martial arts training, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is widely recognised for supporting many neurodivergent children by providing clear routines, consistent expectations, and positive discipline. • Martial arts training helps children develop focus, listening skills, and the ability to follow instructions, which directly supports classroom learning. Through structured routines and physical activity, children learn emotional regulation, resilience, and how to manage frustration appropriately.

Confidence gained on the mats often carries over into school, helping children participate more comfortably and navigate social situations. Training also reinforces respect for authority, accountability, and positive peer interactions.
